Night and Day, 
Creamy Coin Pearls, Faceted Labrorodite, Rose Gold, Yellow Gold and Sterling Silver set the stage for this necklace.
The chosen metals were fashioned into sections of Byzantine and connected together with Japanese Weave.
Once complete I added the Pearls and Labrorodite for a versatile piece that can go from office to a night on the town.
Complimenting the Rose Gold I used Copper Toned Leather.

Well, I waited to post my last week for a few different reasons. One - I was ridiculously busy making my displays and my tags. Two - I wanted to be the last one to post into the FSOJ folder for the year!
My very lsat piece for the year is entirely hand made. clasps, jumprings, everything! A peruvian opal focal, with something alike to an eni style embellishment on the front. then two "infinity type" swirls(coiled) on either side. Peruvian opal likes, fat wrapped, and then fat wrapped plain links with a spiral dangle (coiled). There are four spiral dangles on either side of the focal to represent each season, and how each season linked and spiraled into one another. There is one "infinity type" spiral on either side to show how glad I am that this will continue, hopefully forever! :^) The wrap on the front of the opal show how we all went through ups and downs, and yet we managed to cycle back to the beginning again! This was a real blast everyone, and I cannot wait t osee next years seasons spiral by!
Well...I am late again. You may see a consistent theme...these little flower forms. They seem to be popular. So I have been experimenting. These are some lovely muted colors of grey and peach. Very pretty. 
Week 52!!!
The FSOJ is one of the most unique and inspiring events I have ever had the fortune to be involved in.
Personally, I have grown tremendously as an artist, and have seen others do the same...many of you blow me away, every week with your creativity. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing it continue!
I hate to say it (again), but this is another little pendant thats been floating around on my table for a couple of months...if I finished even HALF of what I started, I'd have a huge inventory. But alas, my self diagnosed adult onset ADD must be to blame, right? Or is it all the pretty shiny things I never put away or organize that distract me from one project to the next? We may never know!
Next time I have the camera out, I will take a picture of said table to give you an idea of just what is going on in my basement disaster area!
So, this is a nice, LARGE faceted Labradorite rondell with Garnet and Bali beads. The pendant hangar is also the clasp, with just the finished ends and a couple of large jump rings being the only part to the leather strap.

I'm sorry to end this wonderful year with something that doesn't have too much wire in it, but if I don't post this, I'm not sure when I will post something - life has gotten complicated. This has been a wonderful experience - I'm so impressed with everyone's creativity and imagination. And thanks so much to the organizers for making this possible. This is a wonderful community and i"m so proud to be a small part of it.

PS I bought these pearls in Hong Kong almost a year ago and they are so gorgeous that I decided to keep this as simple as possible.
Well, not on time and not a finished piece of jewelry, but an accomplishment to celebrate nonetheless! Here is one of the sets that I made and named it "Black, Gray & Red Hot!" just for this week's entry. Some of the beads actually have .999 pure silver on them and I just am so thrilled to be working in hot glass that I am going to pursue doing lampwork as my focus. I look forward to the new season and I must say that all of you are just a great group of talented women whom I am privileged to be associated with.

52 weeks has absolutely flown by - hasn't it?
For my
final piece for FSOJ I wanted to try and incorporate some of the new
things I have learned this last 12 months. I'm pretty happy with what I
came up with, although the photo really doesn't do it justice (this is
picture no. 42 - I kid you not!)
The main body is 14g. fine silver.
I have hammered this lightly and then balled up the ends with my torch.
The wrapping and weaving is done with 26g. sterling & G.F. , the
small beads - also in the same metals are 3mm. round. Suspended from
this is one of my dichro pendants (with gold painted on and fired)
which I have finished with PMC from a syringe. The whole thing is
hanging from a 2 in 2 chain using two different size rings interspersed
with GF wrapped loops and more sterling beads. A hand-made "S" clasp
finishes it off.

can't believe the first FSOJ year is over! Well, technically tomorrow.
Here's my piece, another fused pendant. This one is made from silver
scrap, which may include sterling, fine silver, and Argentium sterling
silver. I have a small scrap jar that any silver scraps go in if I'm
not sure exactly which alloy they are, and separate scrap jars for each
kind of silver too.
After fusing (and cleaning up the metal -
sterling turns black when heated, so I pickled the piece until much of
the black was gone, leaving a bit to give it an oxidized look, then had
to polish out some rough spots, and finally tumbled to make sure
everything really had fused), I embellished this pendant with a bunch
of stone beads, including amethyst, labradorite, green garnet, peridot,
citrine, and a couple unknowns (one or two might be glass, another
seems like it's some type of agate).
Oh my!.. I just cannot believe how fast this last FSOJ has flown. The week's due days seemed to come faster and faster.

The pieces you all pulled outta the bag this year were mind blowing. It's awesome to look back through the years and see how far we have progressed in skill and diversity. The FSOJ is a perfect way for us to see this easily.
It was an awesome challenge as usual. Most of the year the challenge for me was just to get something made, photographed and posted each week. I'm personally proud and erm amazed that I have actually stuck it out for the year,. even if it meant pumping out a lot of quick pieces and being late during some periods of the year.
Anyway,.. the finale.. Week 52.
This week I had my second session at the torch, aaand the first time I have used my own torch (Bobcat) which I have only had for just over 3 yrs *gasp*.
Here is my first bead set, and since one bead from last session (bead 11) missed the photo shoot,. these beads in this set are beads 13 to 20 in order of making. I wanted to make a set especially so I could use them to make this final week's piece.
And finally..... my first necklace using my own lampwork beads!! Whooot! I'm pretty pleased with myself, lol.

I really wanted to do a spectacular piece for this last week, but darn, I still have that virus. I'm brain dead and my muse has drifted away.
This week I did three bangle bracelets. I used memory wire as the core and 26 gauge copper wire for wrapping. Its hard to tell in the photos...the glass beads are three different shades of green. I oxidized the copper to finish.
I really enjoyed everyone's work and look forward to the next season!
