Melissa Meman Designs - Ocean Blue Earrings

Still working on catching up, here are the matching earrings for Week 13's Ocean Circle - same faceted blue "quartz" briolettes wrapped with 26g sterling wire and embellished with a couple of faceted peridot rondells.  Very simple design - decided not to enclose them with the wire circle like the pendant.

Winter - Jan Atherton

Lucious winter whites and soft greys, reflect the winter snows outside, Botswana agate, snowy white freshwater pearls and Sterling silver Byzantine,using 2.5mm id rings made from 22 guage sterling.

Week 14 - Hint of Winter - ShyViolet/ShyVioletCC/Cecilia

Hint of Winter - This necklace is actually the original piece in my Seasons Collection, so it's a little bit of every season! Freshwater pearls (potato and rice), garnets (faceted rondelles and diamonds), citrine (buttons and chips), and peridot (chips). It doesn't look quite as lopsided in real life as it does in the picture - the color changes are asymmetrical, but the pearl section doesn't really look so thin in comparison to the peridot section.

week 14 - In the pink

These pieces were made to go with an outfit I bought and wore for my engagement party. It had rather a plunging neckline so I needed some beads to decorate the space!!! It is made up of st silver chain and wrapped assorted beads (mainly fire polished and crystals). 

Week 14- Hint of Winter- Ninde'

Well, I was done on time but I broke the bulb from one of my lights for taking pictures.  Week 13's attempt to do without made me decide to wait till I had a new light.  After all this time, still no light bulb so I decided to play with alternative methods.  Think I found one that works okay.  Put the light IN the tent and my stuff outside.  Weird but it gave me the best results photo wise.

Any way this bangle is like many of the others I have made.  It features a focal lampwork and accent beads (in this case by Charlie Warner), lots of Bali and Hill Tribe silver, some lampwork spacers, an African glass slider bead, and a PMC charm I got in an exchange through Connie Fox's site.

I didn't oxidize this bangle.  The shine and sparkle seemed to highlight the wintery theme. I thought I would call it "Winter Ice."

Week 14 - Simple Pendant

I'm still trying to get caught up, so this is a very simple one.  The pendant is made from hammered 14 gauge sterling with 2 little "rosette" style white Czech glass beads.  The beads remind me a bit of snowballs, so that's why I used them for this "Hint of Winter" week.

Week 14 - weirdlywired

ALMOST caught up...

This was made for my MIL for Christmas.  She wanted a Mother's Bracelet of her children, with lots of wire and the birthstones of her grandchildren for each child...so this was my reply.  18G DS for the swirly W's, the rest 20G DS.  Since I made this, Jon's family learned that they are pregnant, so I'll have to add a dangle or something.  I like it, but am not too happy with the quality of some of my twisted rings.  They look like they were chewed on.  I did LOS it, and spent a considerable amount of time polishing the letters.

I'll be working more hours at work - but making less money -   }:0(  NOT the way I wanted to start the new year...but I digress, so I'll be doing more of my web page work from there and I promise to get caught up.

Hint of Winter - Helene (heliacal)

Holiday travel kept me way off schedule at the beginning of the Winter season, but I'm getting back on track now!  I thought the red and green combination in this pair of earrings would fit the "Hint of Winter" theme nicely.  The design is an adaptation of an earring design from the book Moods in Wire, and they were quick and easy to do.  The red beads are red jasper, and the green ones are malachite.

HarleenWP - Week 14

This little leaf ring was requested by a visiting 10-year old.  She found it while looking through some of my jewelry books.  It comes from the book Jewelry, Two Books in One by Madeline Coles. 

I'm late posting, as usual.  Christmas morning I turned on my computer and it died--just went belly up!   I now have a new one, but I'm still working on transferring everything from the hard drive of the old one.  Unfortunately, the new one will not support the drive from the old one.  I'm moving information from one..to another..and finally to the one on my desk.  What a chore!

week 14 - varuamoon

Had a last minute shopper come Dec. 24th in the afternoon to look over my selection of jewelry for his wife. Talk about last minute. He contacted me that morning. I said sure and made a few more pieces in gold-fill. She's particular about gold jewelry. While this was not the piece that he chose, it was a piece I created that morning. It is a faceted cz peridot set in square gf wire prongs.
