I'm in... wooo hooo. I've really been looking forward to being a part of this project again. I have missed all of the inspiration and motivation that I get from participating in the YOJ project.

Newbie testing the waters here. I am so excited to be able to join this wonderfully talented group. I have been making jewelry now for over 2 years (not long, I know). I started with Preston's course and went to his boot camp. Can you tell from this piece? Ha! Everyone starts somewhere and I learned a lot from him. I have branched out since, I promise. This is something I made a long time ago, near the beginning of my journey. Can you count the loops? Hee, hee. I wanted to see how one of my pics showed up before the big day tomorrow so I picked this loopy rhodonite in sterling.

Well, I call it mixed breed for two reasons. First I have a mixed breed dog and while on our walks I think about designs.
Secondly, I have some Dalmatian jasper that is "mixed " with other stones. As well as two different types of metal work. 1.wire 2.pmc
The pmc pendent is the first one I have ever made and did it on a gas stove top with written instructions from an issue of Art Jewelry Mag.
I was so excited when it turned out pretty well. Anyway, wanted a simple rosary chain. I liked the dalmatian jasper and had not had a chance to incorporate it with anything else. So used that jasper as the cohesive element then looked at the colors in my wardrobe and went with that.
I have one issue with this piece I sometimes feel that the pmc pendent is to small or gets lost within this circle of beautiful stones.
Would love to hear some thoughts on that as well as anything else.
