This is my first FSOJ (but I've been lurking for the last 2 I think!)...

This is a shot from my first, and only art show.  It was a juried show and for a first show, I think it went very well. 

This next year on 4SOJ I think I am going to use the "obligation" of doing a piece a week to do some of those things that I have seen in books or magazines, that looked cool, and I thought I would do "one day". 

The truth is "one day" never comes it seems.  So my work will be less original than the past year, but I am hoping that the result will be that I will try lots of different techniques and see which ones will incorporate well into my original work. 

There are so many cool things in the many books and magazines I own.  (I am a book and magazine junkie.)   It seems that I never try the projects though.  So this year I will try them- polymer, pmc, wire, cold connections,  so many ideas to explore.  I brought some "Post It" tabs home from work.  I am going to go through books this next week and mark the pages of projects I have wanted to try.   I am actually really looking forward to it. 

I do have a couple of pieces for '05-'06 that I need to get posted yet.  That will be my other goal for '06-'07 trying to photograph and post in a timely manner!
